CIPR Scotland named as a main sponsor

The PRofessionals is delighted to announce a new partner has been secured for Scotland’s first PR festival – CIPR Scotland group.

Driving professional standards, promoting best practice and ensuring an inclusive approach is the aim of the sponsorship.

Over the last few months we’ve been working to ensure transparency, so there is no conflict of interest. Laura Sutherland’s position within the CIPR had previously made this more tricky; formerly a Board Director and currently a Council member.

Laura said: “Working with the CIPR in Scotland will mean we have a 360 approach to reaching and engaging PR practitioners in Scotland, considering the PRCA is also a main sponsor.

“I am delighted both organisations have come on board and we can all work together to achieve better collaboration and share best practice.”

The PRofessionals has also been promoted to members of the Marketing Society in Scotland and to one of the biggest establishments of public relations education in Scotland, Queen Margaret University.

Katrine Pearson, chair of the Scotland group added: “We’re looking forward to supporting Scotland’s first ever PR festival. The exciting line-up reflects the diverse nature of the industry and it’s great to see speakers of this calibre in Scotland. We hope our members will use this as an opportunity to expand their knowledge, network and be inspired. CPD points can be claimed by delegates so it’s an ideal way to boost your professional development plans for this year.”

To celebrate this partnership with CIPR Scotland, members will enjoy a 10% discount for a limited period.
